We partner with family offices, private equity firms, energy investors and companies to build decision-grade data and geospatial intelligence capabilities, without the cost and complexity of an in-house team.
These are the problems we hear most from PE firms, family offices, and operating companies before they come to us.
We work at the intersection of data engineering, geospatial analysis, and applied AI, translating complex, fragmented information into clear decision support.
Lumen Labs is built for organizations that have meaningful data challenges but don't have — or don't want — a large in-house data team to solve them.
No multi-year retainers before value is delivered. Engagements are scoped, purposeful, and designed to show results fast.
Before starting Lumen Labs, Daniel spent nearly two decades building data systems at the intersection of energy, investment, and geospatial intelligence. He served as Director of Data at a private equity firm where he built data and geospatial intelligence infrastructure that supported underwriting and analytics across deals of all sizes. Prior to that, he designed and developed digital products for Bayer to serve the golf, forestry and European railway markets. Before that, he spent six years at Apache Corporation building competitive intelligence platforms and products for use by executive management. Earlier in his career, he worked in hybrid technical and business roles at Shell and Chesapeake Energy.
Lumen Labs is the product of that experience, built to help businesses and investment firms get more out of their data.
Whether you need a better reporting foundation, geospatial intelligence, document processing automation, or a clearer data strategy, we can help you scope the right next step.
